The name Menke means 30 years experience in the tool construction, of it 20 years in the wire erosion. At the beginning in 1987 Manfred Menke started first in rented spaces with a erosion-machine " Robofil 400" into the Independence.

A second machine " Robofil 200 " followed at short notice. 1990 the third machine " Robofil 4000 " and the first coworker was added.

Since October 1993 the Menke-Team works in the own new hall-building and does for a large clientele erosion-workpieces of all kinds. Up to the year 1996 two further cutting machines " Robofil 510 " and " Robofil 6020 " followed. Also an EDM-High-Speed Drilling-machine " SH2-CNC " followed in this year.

To complete the service supply around the wire eroding for the customers a surface grinding machine and a 3D-measuring-machine with video system were added.

In November 1996 a further investment was transacted. A new system (Sodick A1000W) with other dimensions of wire erosion was added as a investment for the future. With this system Axis-travell by 1000 mm x 750 mm with a cutting-height of up to 500 mm and a workpiece weight by up to 4000 kg was possible. And in convincing quality with a water-tank-machine.

Pieces of those Dimensions needed a bigger EDM-High-Speed Drilling-machine too. In 1999 a " HEUN Apos 1000 " with larger Axis-Travel than the old machine was added. It was necessary to fulfill the request of the market.

The real conversion of your ideas and concepts requires for suitable tools, engagement and a maximum of productivity to guarantee success. In order to offer this at any time a Quality management system was installed in 1998, which is now certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2000.

One of the newest developments at Menke is, that cutting-heights up to 600 mm can be realized, and with a new tool a "rotation spindle" it is possible to use the wire erosion machine like a engine lathe for smallest precision parts.
